Step by step to connect your Tru-Test XR5000 to the Breedr app
Go to your Tru-Test XR5000 home screen and select 'Settings'.
2. Open the menu and scroll pages until you find 'Connections'
3. Select the 'Connections' menu, scroll down to the Android device you want to pair and select with the enter button.
4. Scroll down to Configuration in the sub connections menu
5. Scroll down and select Output sub menu and select EID, Weight
6. Your XR5000 should now be set up to send weight and EID data
7. On your Android device, Bluetooth settings, make sure the device is paired but not connected - the pairing code is usually "0000"
8. Lastly, go to the Breedr app and tap the 'Bluetooth' icon, top right of the screen.
This will open up the devices page and you should see the 'XR5000' listed (you may need to tap the 'Refresh' button for it to appear.
9. Tap the white square to the left to connect the XR5000 to your Breedr app, the square will turn green once connected and the screen will confirm 'Device connected'
Now you are ready to start weighing with your XR5000 - close the devices page and head to the 'Sessions' button on the navigation tab at the bottom of the page.
Select 'Quick Weigh' to run a straight forward weigh only session or 'Setup Session' to input drafting parameters or use the Value Calculator and/or add VID/EID as you go.
