What does this report do?

This report provides animal level detail on purchase and sale information, as well as group summaries. The data can be filtered so that you can view sale date, sale week, purchase date, group and field/pen.

What does it show you?

The first chart shows you the number of animals that were sold or purchased on a particular date, you can group the data, as mentioned above, by selecting the heading and pressing apply.

The table below shows you the sale date of your animals as well as additional information regarding the sale, after logging a live or dead animal sale within the Breedr app. This includes how many animals were purchased or sold, the number of animals sold deadweight or live-weight, the cost and sale price in £ and £/kg, and also the average DLWG on-farm.

The report also shows you this information at an individual animal level, where you can see the passport number and relevant animal information, along with the financial data you have logged. A gross profit is calculated if the purchase price and sale price are logged against the animal.

Why is this useful?

This report allows you to see the profit on your animals and the time period the animal has been on-farm for by viewing the date moved to farm and the date left farm. Allowing you to see how profitable, or not profitable the animals have been.
