What does this report do?

This report aims to help you identify the most common causes and rectify them accordingly. Additionally, associated with these causes is when in the production cycle they occur, this helps you focus on particular times when attention is required to prevent administering treatments or experiencing mortality.

The report allows you to compare seasons, but also identify what production periods within a season are experiencing higher/lower levels of medicine administration and/or mortality. You can also identify the animal type, by selecting an animal by its sex classification.

Why is this useful?

The report shows who, when and why animals are being administered medicines and dying, and you will be able to identify areas within their production period they need to focus on to improve your medicine usage and mortality rates.

The report can:

  • Pinpoint most common causes of medicine administration and/or mortality

  • Identify periods of the year that cause high levels of medicine administration and/or mortality

  • Identify animal types that are most susceptible to particular infections that require medicine administration and/or mortality

What does it show you?

Medicine treatment

  • Sex classification and number treated to understand the most vulnerable cohort

  • The month of administration to understand the most vulnerable time of year

  • Reason for administration to understand the most common causes

  • Year to understand seasonal trends

Mortality

  • Sex classification to understand the most vulnerable cohort

  • Age at death to understand the most vulnerable age

  • The month of death to understand the most vulnerable time of year

  • Reason for death to understand the most common causes

  • Year to understand seasonal trends

You can download tables/charts in the report by clicking the three dots, top right of the table or chart, and select download; CSV, pdf, excel file, image.
