Quickly scan animal EIDs, or search VID's, to create a list of animals on the mobile app. Save the list and log animal activities or amend the list at a later stage for easy animal management.

If you are creating your list via scanning EID tags, make sure your EID stick reader is connected to the Breedr app. The bluetooth icon will turn green once connected.

Next select the "Sessions" icon from the panel at the bottom of the mobile screen and tap the "Quick Scan" button once on the sessions page.
2. Scan the animal EID tags, or search and select EID/VID's in the search bar and this will
start populating a list of the animals. Once you are happy with your list press the
"Stop/Save" button.
3. This will bring you to the Overview page, where you change the "Session name" at the top of the page if you wish. It also gives you the chance to remove animals from the list by pressing the red X button. At this point you can also bulk log activities against your list of animals, press the "Manage" button to do this.
4. A confirmation message will appear, stating that activities can be only logged against animals that with no errors. Chose the activity which you would like to log and proceed with logging the activity as usual.
5. Once happy you can then "Save & Finish" your session and this will sit in your "Active sessions" under Scan on the sessions icon, for you to return to at any time.
(Tip!) You can amend your lists at anytime by selecting them from "Active sessions" and then removing animals using the red X button or adding animals by EID scanning or search and select EID/VID
6. If you scan an EID tag which is not recognised, you can remove the animal by click on the red X button. If you want to create an animal from the EID number or match the EID number to animal press "Stop/ Save"
7. On the overview page it will give you two options. The "Search" option allows you to match the EID number to an animal already in your account. If you click "Add animal" this will allow you to create an animal and associate the EID number to the animal.
