Movements can help you keep track of key shipment information, including number of livestock, reason for move-off, destination, and date moved off. Movement Drafts are designed to be created in advance for review before submission and can be viewed on the mobile app and the web portal.
There are two types of OFF Movements:
1. Network movements allow you to send animal records to another Breedr account.
2. Address book movements allow you to record where your animals have been sent to and move them to the archive list.
To complete a network movement, you must be an established member of a supply chain. Once you send animals to another member of your supply chain, those animal records will appear on their account.
Out-of-network movements can be done to any destination as a record-keeping tool. The animals will appear in the archived view of animals (viewed on the web) but they won’t go to someone else’s ranch.

Movements Dashboard:
View animals moved OFF, moved ON, and any drafted movements, and submitted movements.
Note: You can set a movement for a future date, but it will be in your drafts until the date of the movement.
Step-by-Step
To Create a Movement
Navigate to the Movements Dashboard and tap the '+ Create' button. You can also start a movement by clicking 'Manage' on a group or location and then 'Create Movement.'
Enter the name, date, and reason.
Choose the destination (from your address book or your network).
Add animals to the movement (choose from a completed session or sort and filter your entire animal list.
Click 'Submit.'
To Edit or Delete a Movement
Note: Editing and deleting a Movement is only possible on drafts.
To edit a Movement
On either the mobile app or the web portal, click on the drafted Movement that needs updating.
From here, you can change the name, date moved off, reason, destination, and animals you want to include in the movement.
To save as a draft, click 'Save Draft'. To submit directly, click 'Submit'.
To delete a Draft
On either the mobile app or the web portal, click on the drafted Movement that needs to be deleted.
From here, either use the red trash icon on the mobile app or the 'Delete draft' button on the top right of the screen.
