Step-by-step

Navigate to the menu on the left-hand side of your screen, and click 'Import Data'.

Select 'Custom Import'.

Choose the type of activity you would like to log.

​Vet & Med - Trich test or administer medicine
​Movement - Log a move off-farm or a previous keeper
​Performance - Body condition score, live weight, carcass grade
​Breeding - Embryo Transplant, preg check, remove sire, bulling, AI, Bull BSE, introduce sire, weaning, abort/stillbirth, or ultrasound REA
​Financial - Live sale, carcass sale, animal purchase
​Birth & Death
Notes
​Treatments - Debudding, hoof trim, castration

​Note: Before uploading, make sure your data captures all the data Breedr is looking for. Most activities require a date, so make sure you have a column in your data that indicates the "Activity Date".

Use this example to format your data:

This file contains the animal IDs to match an existing animal in Breedr, a column containing all the animal's weights, and the date they were recorded.
​

For this example, we will upload a live weight. Click on 'Performance' and select 'Live weight'.
​

Select 'Upload file' and choose the file you would like to upload.
​

Match the column headings from your file to the ones on Breedr. Each column heading has a drop-down menu to choose from.

In this case, we will select and match Animal ID, live weight, and activity date.
​

​

Select 'Finish Upload'.
